It's hard to have a photo blog if you don't own a camera.

A couple weeks ago I took a trip to South Carolina, and on the trip I lost my camera. The first thing I thought of when I realized I'd lost the camera was that I wouldn't be able to take pictures for my blog, which is kind of silly because it's been a year since I uploaded any photos. So now without a camera and still with little time to take pictures and post them I find myself wondering about the future of Minneapolis Through the Lens. Perhaps I will replace my camera in time and continue to post photos then, but until that happens the lenses of my eyes will have to take the place of my camera's lens. So, with the elimination of a step in my blogging process, there is a possibility that my blog post frequency will increase, and in place of photographs there will be more words, and other forms of visual imagery, and maybe even some art. On the other hand, I may fall back into a post-less slum and it'll be a year before my words or photos grace my page. I'm hoping for the former.
